2017:

Heaven Houck - Honesdale Senior. Verbally committed to Keystone College

Heaven was coach under both Coach Becca & Coach Grace previous to joining Pursuit; during Pursuit’s start, Heav joined and became a vital part of Pursuit's U19 team. Heaven was an asset on the defensive end for her fellow Pursuits. Heaven will be playing field hockey at Keystone College and studying pre-chiropractic. In the off season she plays indoor field hockey and softball.

The following athletes worked under the instruction and direction of Pursuit's Co-Director, Coach Becca, previous to their well-deserved, high-honored field hockey achievements:

2018:

Ksenia Pereyra - Wallenpaupack Senior. Castleton University

Miss Ksenia Pereyra was coached by both Coach Becca & Coach Grace at Pursuit for the last three years. Ksenia became an instant leader in the club, helping coach the younger Pursuit’s, and as a Captain on her u19 team. Ksenia’s growth on Defense is inspirational. A big congratulations to Ksen

for committing to continue her education, majoring in Nursing, and dedication to playing Field Hockey at Castleton University / Castleton Field Hockey !


Megan Benson -  2014 Graduate - American

2015 American University: As she started the season for American University, Megan suffered from a Hip Injury which prevented her from fully being able to play in the 2015 Season.

High School: Four-year letter winner … two-time second-team all-state … first-team Times Leader All-Star … first-team all-conference … Futures participant … competed at the National Indoor Tournament from 2012-15 with the Kapow Hockey Klub … also lettered four years in softball … plans to major in international relations. 



Stacy Hart - 2014 Graduate - Kutztown

Career Honors: 2015 NFHCA Scholar of Distinction, 2015 NFHCA National Academic Squad, and Dean's List Honors (Fall 2015).
2015 (Game-by-Game): NFHCA Scholar of Distinction and National Academic Squad (3/22)...Hart started in one of her seven games played in her freshman campaign. 
Honesdale High School: Hart was the team captain and a two-time Wyoming Valley Conference All-Star (2013, 2014). Hart was also a member of the National Honor Society.


Bailey Martin - 2014 Graduate - LUI Post

2015 LUI: Played in 14 games (11 starts) ... earned an assist in a 6-0 blanking of St. Thomas Aquinas (Sept. 13) ... recorded her first collegiate goal against Adelphi (Oct. 7) ... allocated an assist in a 3-1 win versus American International (Oct. 24).
Prior to LIU Post: Four-year varsity starter at Honesdale High School ... 2014 Citizens Voice and Times Leader First Team All-Star ... two-time All-State nominee ... recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award as a senior ... holds the single-season record for most free hits (586) ... ranks third all-time for most career free hits (1,216).


Mary Martin - Mary was a 2013 graduate of Honesdale High School where she was a district and state decorated athlete in 3 sports. She played center forward for the Hornet Hockey team was served as a 2-Year Team Captain for the field hockey team. In 2012 she was named a co-Offensive MVP as Honesdale had it's best season in school history. Mary was also an Academic All-American and WVC 1st Team League All-Star. She holds most scoring records in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame. Mary's first love is on the hardwood of the basketball court as she was a 1000 point scorer in 2013 and she led her basketball team to the state semi-finals. Mary is continuing her basketball career for the Red Devils at Dickinson University.




Sam Krempasky - Sam was a 2013 graduate of Honesdale High School where she played an extremely aggressive right wing for the Hornets. Sam was honored was a co-Offensive MVP in season 2012, which was the best in school history. Sam holds some offensive records in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame and will forever hold the name "The BULL" at Honesdale. Sam was a WVC All-Star Selection her senior year. She now continues her field hockey career at Keystone College.




Kate Pfeil - Kate was a 2013 graduate of Honesdale High School where she played a defensive sweeper for the Hornets. Kate was honored with Team MVP in 2012, as she helped lead Honesdale to it's best season in school history. Kate was also an Academic All-American, WVC 1st Team All Star, school record holder and Team Captain at Honesdale. She now plays for the Mounties of Mansfield University. 




Justine Firmstone - Justine was a 2011 Graduate of Honesdale High School where she played Defense and forward for the hornets. Justine recieved the commitment award and served as team captain for Honesdale. She now plays for keystone college as a defender. in her rookie season for the giants,, Justine played in 15 games, starting 9 of them. She had one assist and two defensive saves.




Desiraye Mack - Desi was a 2011 Graduate of Honesdale High School where she played forward and mid for the hornets. Desi left honesdale as the most decorated and record setting hornet since morganne firmstone in 2007. She was team mvp and players award recipient to name a few. Desi played club field hockey for kapow and east coast during her high school career, traveling to national indoor tournament, the national field hockey festival and disney. Desi is now playing at East Stroudsburg University. She was red-shirted during her rookie season due to an injury while playing that broke her wrist. in 2014, Desi was named to All-PSAC 3rd team, started all 20 games, had 3 goals and 6 assists, helped Warriors reach PSAC semifinals for the first time since 2010, goal, assist in 6-1 win at Seton Hill, scored in 6-1 win at Mansfield and 4-1 loss vs. LIU Post.




Brittany Cardona - A 2009 Graduate of Honesdale High School is attending Keystone College majoring in Art Education. Brittany took 2 years off of field hockey and came out for the Giants as a Junior. Her hockey talent spoke for itself, as she started 17 out of the 18 regular season games. She was ranked second on her team in goal scoring points with 9 goals and 6 assists in her rookie college year (2012). Brittany was also a first team All CSAC Selection! Brittany played Forward for the Hornets from 2006-2009 and was an intrical part of the offensive line and taking her high school team to district playoffs.




Elly Skinner - 2010 Graduate playing for Kutztown University. Elly plays defense and midfield for the Golden Bears. As a freshman in 2010 she started 13 out of 18 games and scored 2 goals in her rookie season. Elly started in all of her college games as a Sophomore. At Honesdale, Elly was a 2 year team captain, Team MVP and School Record Holder. 




LeeAnna Bennett - 2010 Graduate playing for Keystone College. LeeAnna plays defense for the Giants Field Hockey Team. 2010 was her freshman year, where she started all 19 games. LeeAnna was a First Team All CSAC All Star Selection and All Academic Team in her rookie year. For Honesdale, LeeAnna served as Team Captain and was a Best Defensive Player Selection. LeeAnna is also in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame. In her 2012 Hockey Season she was First Team All CSAC, started all 18 games and recorded 8 defensive saves, which ranked her in the top 25 nationally.




Amber Mohrmann - 2009 Graduate playing for Marywood University. Amber played forward for the Pacers for 2 years. At Honesdale, Amber was a Coaches Award Winner, Decorated Band Member and National Honor Society Member.




Amber Collins - 2009 Graduate playing for DeSales University. Amber started and played for the Bulldogs on the defensive end in all 19 games in her freshman year. An injury sidelined her in her sophomore season. Amber is looking to bounce back with a vengance in her Junior year for the Bulldogs. At Honesdale, Amber played the right midfielder position and earned the Coaches Award. 




Kate Cottell - 2008 Graduate played for East Stroudsburg University. She played for 2 years as a forward for the Warriors. At Honesdale, Kate served as a team captain and was named the Teams Most Valuable Offensive Player. 




Grace Manzione - 2008 Graduate playing for East Stroudsburg University. Grace played defense for the Warriors. As a freshman she played in all 18 games, starting 10 of them. In her sophomore year, ESU went to NCAAs where Grace started as a key defender in all 21 games. During her senior year, she had 3 game winning goals: two strokes and one corner in double OT verse Millersville . At Honesdale, Grace played defense and midfield for the Hornets. She was a field hockey and soccer team captain and standout. She earned Best Midfielder and Defender Awards as a Hornet.




Maureen "Mo" Ordnung - 2008 Graduate playing for East Stroudsburg University as Goalkeeper. As a freshman for the Warriors, Mo recorded 3 shut-outs. Sophomore year yeilded a starting position in all 21 games, Team MVP Award, NCAA appearance, and 5 shut-outs. Highlighting her Sophomore year was a #2 National ranking in Division II Goalkeeper Save percentage! Junior year has been her most decorated yet. Mo started all 23 games, was named First Team All-PSAC and has already found her name in the ESU record books as 6th in career goalkeeper saves. Mo was voted team captain for the Warriors to lead them into her senior year, season 2011. At Honesdale, Mo was undoubtably the best goalkeeper in school history with numerous goalkeeper records in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame. She was Team MVP her senior year and was a team captain.




Morganne Firmstone - 2007 Graduate playing for Monmouth University. Morganne plays defense and midfield for the Hawks. Morganne started 15/16 games as a freshman and was named 2nd Team All Northeast Conference DI All Star. Morganne was red-shirted due to an injury her sophomore year. Junior year, back in action, Morganne started all 21 games and was 2nd on her team in shots on goal. Senior year, Morganne was named 1st Team All NEC, NEC Player of the Week, and clinched numerous victories for the Hawks with multiple game winning goals, in one of the best seasons Monmouth has ever had. Morganne was said to be "one of the most talented members on the team and she commands the backfield." At Honesdale, Morganne rewrote the record books. She can be found in almost all categories of the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame. She was a 2 year team captain, Team MVP and National Festival Gold Medalist. Morganne to date is the most decorated Field Hockey Player Honesdale has produced.





Kaitlyn Barnes - 2006 Graduate played for Holy Cross. Kaitlyn started on the defensive end all 4 years of her career. Kaitlyn served as captain her senior year and was named to the Division I 1st Team All Patriot League All Star. Kaitlyn led her team in tackles and interceptions for 2 years in a row. At Honesdale, Kaitlyn was a Best Defensive Player for multiple years and played on prestigious club teams in many national events. Kaitlyn is in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame and is one of the best defensive players Honesdale has ever produced. Kaitlyn is currently working in the medical field. 





Kate Krempasky - 2006 Graduate played for Marywood University Pacers as a Forward. At Honesdale, Kate was a feisty Offensive Player. She served as a team captain her senior year at Honesdale. Kate was also active in the Marching Band and National Honor Society.





Kelli Yarrish - 2005 Graduate played for Keystone College and East Stroudsburg University. Kelli played 2 years for ESU then finished her career at Keystone. Kelli played midfield/forward for the Giants. Kelli was extremely influential in the rebuilding of the Giants field hockey program. As she anchored the teams offense, on the first team at the college in 20 years. In her career at Keystone, Kelli set school records for scoring and earned 2nd Team All Conference Honors, All Conference Honorable Mention and served as Team Captain.  At Honesdale, Kelli had a huge impact in the Hornet Hockey Hall of Fame, holding several records. She was a team captain, Best Midfield Player and Team MVP during her career at Honesdale. She also was the only woman in decades at Honesdale to earn 12 varsity letters in her High School Career.  Kelli was  the assistant Field Hockey Coach at Marywood University, but has moved to Keystone College to be the assistant coach and runs the Riverfront Sports Complex Field Hockey Programs.

2016:

Clayre Smith - Honesdale Junior. Verbally signed to Penn State

Smith was and continues to be coached and work with Coach Becca while at Honesdale and individually. Smtih was just ranked #39 out of the Top 50 National Field Hockey Players according to MAX Field Hockey.





Alyssa Watson - Wallenpaupack Junior. Verbally signed to Quinnipiac University

Watson continues to work with Coach Becca and Coach Grace gradually during her HS career. She has begun to train individually with Coach Grace in 2015 during her off season between FH and Softball, to focus on strength and conditioning.
